In rainy weather we travel to Koper (Slovenia), the large shopping center is easily accessible on the outskirts of the city.
Motovun is very pleasant to stay in the evening and enjoy the wide views over the valley.
Rovinj is also worth a visit, just like Hum, the smallest city in Europe, and if you are heading for Slovenia, Piran certainly can't succeed.
